Launched in May 2021, the Conference on the Future of Europe is more than just a conference. It is an open consultation, inviting all Europeans to share their ideas on the kind of Europe they want to live in.
For young people, this is a unique opportunity to shape Europe’s future – their future. A group of volunteers has launched the campaign "Make the Voice of European Students heard!" to call on teachers across Europe to help their students take part.
Emma, 22, undergraduate student and Moritz, 19, high-school student explain why it is important to participate in the Conference on the Future of Europe:
In this European Year of the Youth, we encourage the cities part of the Covenant of Mayors movement - and beyond!, to amplify this message in the local educational institutions!
